            Public holidays and shortened working days 2024

            The table of public holidays is based on the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act.

            The calculation of working hours takes into account shortened working days in accordance with Employment Contracts Act § 53 and the Public Holidays Act, which shortens the previous working day by three hours on the following holidays:

            • new year's day
            • Independence Day of the Republic of Estonia
            • victory day
            • christmas eve
